home	Self catering holiday cottage in Scotland - Skye House Location Skye House is a comfortable self-catering cottage offering weekly holiday lets.  The cottage is conveniently located in the historic/artistic town of Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland.  From the A75 Dumfries to Stranraer road take the turn off signed Kirkcudbright. Follow the road thro' Kirkcudbright, passing the main Church on the right, at the next cross roads turn right down High Street.  The house (painted white with black window surrounds) is on the left, 30m. beyond the Gordon House Hotel.  There is no door onto the High Street; the entrance is down Palmer's Close. By Public Transport.  Train or coach to Dumfries, then local bus to Kirkcudbright (about one hour) to the Harbour Square. Head across the Square to the Coop Shop on the corner, bear left along Castle Street.  At the end of Castle Street, is the High Street.  Skye House is on the High Street, opposite the Post Box.  Distance about 400 metres.
